Sora Sami Schofield Romania Bucharest Mission: It was God.

This week was so super awesome amazing and so much happened so here's the rundown

Tuesday:

- dropped a gift off to a sick member

- visited another member and it was a highlight, she told us all about her learning English because she wants to go to general conference in america and hear the choir love and was gossiping about all the members haha

- had a really amazing lesson with our friend codruța who we taught how to pray without saying written prayers

Wednesday:

- visited another member, for some reason all the members could be visited this week haha and she asked about our friends and how people treat us on the street and when we told her she laughed and just said "yeah I know that's romanian" it was funny haha

Thursday:

- went finding on tramvai (like a trolley) and it is super scary but it's chill

- had another lesson with our friend codruta and she said she prayed and felt something different when she had an actual conversation with God instead of written prayers, she even came with her Book of Mormon and bought tabs like we did and asked us how she should mark her Book of Mormon 🥹🥹 it was super tender and amazing and I walked away from the lesson thinking "this is why I'm a missionary" it was a beautiful day

Friday:

- crazy day!

- we met with an inactive member!

-had a crazy lesson with a man off Facebook and it was crazy, he started spouting off random things about our energy and we don't actually know what it is right or wrong and how we don't need a church and we don't have to do anything to be saved, it took all it had in me to be nice and leave politely

-had an amazing lesson with our friend ana maria and a member, we shared the story of korihor with her and she said she had those same questions so it was perfect and her and the member became friends and it was super amazing

Saturday:

- biggest shock of the day was transfer news!!! I'm comps with Sora Later (my current stl) and we are opening an area book in Timișoara!! I know that probs doesn't mean much to non missionaries but any missionaries reading this, our pmg app is empty, like 0 dots, we basically have no friends or contacts or anything so we get to go grind and find people are ready in Timișoara 💪💪 it was my dream to be comps with her and open an area book so basically I was so excited and couldn't focus all day after that hehe

- got bashed in english and got told the Book of Mormon has polygamy in it and when I said "no I know my religion and I know this book" the man said "are you sure?" Like brother I have read this book probably 10 times leave me alone, again got my patience tested, especially since it was English not Romanian lol

-had a birthday party with our new member!

Sunday:

Legit the best day so sorry this email isn't quite over

-fast and testimony meeting! It was the best fast and testimony meeting I've have been too, it was so spirit filled and I'm not sure there was a dry eye in the place

- I bore my testimony and just started tearing up with how much I love and will miss this branch, felt like Ammon who couldn't express the smallest part of what he felt, the members bore testimonies and were so grateful for the missionaries and said that they see us out on the street working and how we don't get discouraged and how one day someone will stop and be interested even if it is slow. It was beautiful, one of the elders in the area is going home and it was so sad to see the last day of a mission and it made me grateful to have 9 more months of this

-we visited a new member and another member today and it was amazing, along with our friend ana maria gave us flowers and it was so cute

Basically my heart is SO FULL! I love this country and these people and being a missionary. It was such beautiful last day in Cluj. I feel like I gave my entire heart, mind, might and soul to this area which made it so bittersweet to leave. I love these people and all the friendships I've made. Cluj has the biggest piece of my heart. Again like Ammon, I can't say but the smallest part of what I feel. No words will ever describe my joy as a missionary and my love for these people.

To end my ages long email I wanted to share a short little spiritual thought.

I was writing in my journal the other night and I ended with "it was good" but I accidentally only wrote one 'o'. So I actually wrote "it was god" and that was probably more accurate. It was all God. God is the reason for everything and it is all from Him. So basically I love the phrase "it was God" now and just know that it was Him, He is there and He provides and everything good is from God. 💗
