ceau west zone 🫡🤍😭

heyo everyone had a great week so let me tell you about it!

First things first : after 10 wonderful amazing beautiful months in the west of the country I got transferred out and I'm moving to SIBIU! which is only slightly more east haha (but not considered west) but it is a beautiful picturesque town and I'm so excited to (probably) end my mission here :) my comp and I are also going to be the social media leaders for my mission! I'm excited for this new opportunity and new responsibility! I'll have a lot to learn from my companion on this haha

Tuesday was so cutie and we had a member meal with my favorite person ever. Sora Barina is the cutest baba (grandma) ever and she feeds us so much but always gives us the best ice cream so I loved it! We also had our english class which has recently been so fun! We share a spiritual thought and some guy stayed after to ask more questions and we explained the whole restoration to him. It is super cool to see God preparing people everywhere, including through our english class. Then the Arad sisters (our stl's) came that night for an exchange! Blessed day.

Wednesday was so blessed! I was on exchange with Sora Turcsanski, one of my stl's and it was so fun. We met up with our friend Pernilla and got ice cream, we streeted a lot, had a lesson with our friend Lulia and it was so good! We taught about the restoration and had to explain how we believe the priesthood authority was taken from earth and it was cool. She is awesome and loves coming to church. Then we went to our friend Loredana's house and ate together. We taught her more about a loving Heavenly Father, I never thought this point would be something people don't understand but I love being able to be the one who tells people about God's perfect love for them. Beautiful day.

Thursday was a little cray. We went to the church at 8 am to help all the members (the whole 5 of them) deep clean the building. Let me tell you - these babas know how to work. They are the hardest workers and even though they are huffin and puffin while cleaning and it was early, they showed up and worked because they love God and want a clean church. They are such big examples for me. We also had another lesson with our friend Roxana and this time she brought another friend along, Casandra. Casandra had a lot of questions about Mormons so we cleared a lot up and taught about God's plan for us. Super beautiful times. Then we had a member visit and taught FHE to our Ugandan family, I just love them. Super good day.

Friday was chill and normal, went house knocking, Saturday we got transfer news! Had some fun finding, a fun meal and taught english! Honestly nothing crazy!

Sunday was so good and so sad. Saying goodbye to this cute little branch was heartbreaking, it was a beautiful 4 months here. We also went and visited a homebound member and went finding. Super chill day!

Basically this week was so fun! I love being a missionary. I love Romania. I love this Gospel. I love God.

When reading in the scriptures we read a lot about God and who He is and I wrote down this week a few things I noticed while reading.
God is light.
God brings joy.
God bring tender mercies.
God is love.
One of my favorite verses from the Bible says how God is love. And how true it is. God is love.
My favorite thing to teach people is how God loves them. In a country where almost 100% of people say they are christian you would think more people would understand a loving Heavenly Father. But they don't and getting to share with them how God loves them is my biggest joy. God loves you.

Love Sami
