sora packs birthday! yayyyy

Bună ziua! 

This week:

The first half of the week was a lot of planning for zone conf! We also met with Oana on Tuesday! We talked about growing our testimonies and she bore such a sweet testimony! It was perfect! 

Wednesday we met our friend Maria! She was cute but also just kept asking us to help her son find a wife haha. Super awkward. I also was sick so it was a loonngggg day but still good! Also taught our friend Jasmin and she's thinking about a baptismal date! Yay! She is amazing! 

Thursday was zone conference! It was so fun! Also my last one, crazy! We talked a lot about what specifically to implement to become better missionaries and growing closer to Jesus Christ this Christmas, it was nice to walk away with real things to implement. We also streeted a bit and we all got SOAKED! but it was the most fun and everyone came back smiling and had a good time. Also had a thanksgiving lunch with the zone and even homemade pumpkin cookies that made my whole week, truly perfect. It was such a fun day! 

Friday was an exchange yayayay. I was with Sora Ellsworth and it was truly perfect. She is truly perfect. We yapped and found some fun people! We also went and visited our new members. They are going through such a hard time so please pray for the Drăgan family! They are so sweet, i love them! We also had a relief society activity and I learned to crochet a little haha. They could not get over the fact that I was left handed so that was hard for them to teach me lol. It was so fun. Sora Ellsworth truly is one of my best friends so being with her for a whole day was so blessed! 

Saturday was ok! I was still sick so it wasn't the best day but still we did it. We visited our friend Oana at her house. It was quite an experience. She tried to force me to hold her cat- heck nah. I told her no and she kept trying to force me so luckily my angel comp held both her cats. She also keeps them under her couch - ?  But it was still good. She is awesome. We also had to teach seminary. Had a little sister Schofield mom moment haha. But it was so fun teaching it and helping these people understand the doctrine and covenants and things they didn't really know before. These kids are still semi new members but they have such strong testimonies and desires to grow. They asked us a lot of questions about the early church and missionaries and we answered some questions. It was super cool. 

Sunday was the best! Monday was Romania Day, basically the 4th of July in Romania, so on Sunday our branch celebrated! Everyone wore all the traditional romanian clothes and we had a big meal after! It was so funny to wear my traditional shirt and celebrate Romania with the branch! So fun. However I did ask if I was ashamed that I was doing "a man's job" (literally carrying a water jug to the kitchen). Romanians aren't quite the most progressive or equal type hahah. But while my comp was practicing in the choir I made some new friends with some little girl members and they are adorable. Our branch president is also excited about our friends baptism, yay!  We also block knocked! And got yelled at for it being too late at literally 7pm and also got told we need to go with boys to protect us. Oh brother. Still a fun day. 

Today is Sora Packs birthday! Yay! And Romania day, yay! So fun! 

This week was so fun and I hope you all had a fun Thanksgiving! Love and miss you all! 

Spiritual thought: 

We read this talk for zone conference and one part that really stuck out to me was when talking about seminary teaching he said,

" I know he loved the Lord and I know he loved me". We've been trying to make sure that this is our how our friends see us. I know our lives will be blessed when we have the love of Lord showing through us and I know that other lives will be too when we show it. I love the Lord and I love this work! Please serve a mission if you thinking about it!
