sora sami: home builder

Heyooooo welcome back everyone.

- we had a lesson with our friend Oana! We met with the branch president and it was really awesome! Everyone is so excited for her baptism! It'll be so awesome.

- we got to go to Bacău this week! A city in northeastern romania and we helped out with Habitat for Humanity which is an organization that helps build houses for those in need. So for 2 days our zone got to go do that!

- we had to put up all the drywall and plaster it all and I just kept thinking how my dad prepped me well for this haha. But basically we killed it and dry walled and plastered a whole room. It was so much fun.

- we had to put our names on our hard hats and we put our first names so all the sister missionaries kept calling me " sora sami" it was pretty funny hahah

- basically Wednesday- Friday were spent on trains and building homes in Bacău!

- Saturday and Sunday were actually crazy. Basically my comp is gifted at singing and our branch is involved in an interfaith choir right now so my comp is singing in it. I'm less than good at singing so I just went to support haha. But Saturday they had so many practices so I was just at the church a lot and was trying to be productive and get some things done that I had to. It wasn't too bad. We met with some friends too.

- Oana passed her baptismal interview on Saturday and is all set for this Saturday for her baptism!

- Sunday was the choir and so there were more practices but it was good! We went to the interfaith concert and it was so fun! We also started saying bye to some members because they won't be at church next week since they have the choir concert in a different city. It was so sad. I'm not a fan of goodbyes.

- we also got a lot of things figured out for Oana's baptism and had our friend Jasmine come to church! She's perfect. Also win of the week - our new member family who is struggling a little bit made it to the Christmas concert. They have like 7 kids and live kinda far and have a hard family situation so it was awesome to see them all pull up!

Honestly not much besides that! It was a good week and this week is my last full week here! I get home the 17th so this is my last full week on my mission, so crazy!

Quick spiritual thought:
I'm just going to leave y'all with this quote and I think it speaks for itself. But I read it recently and I really loved it!

"One of the easiest ways to identify a true follower of Jesus Christ is how compassionately that person treats other people.”

Love you all!!!
