Sora Sami Schofield Romania Bucharest Mission: I am those mormon sisters

What's up everyone, we had a great week this week so lets get to it :

(I think bullet points are easier for everyone I'm not sure lmk)

- Tuesday was PACKED, I don't think we had like any time for lunch or dinner haha but we had a member visit and it was so good!

-met a new girl and the next day we met up with her and bore testimony of how we know she would feel different at this church and if she read the book of mormon and she said she already felt a different spirit when we were talking

- had an awesome lesson with a member and friend of ours (ana maria), she is really wanting to learn more and we are helping her grow her faith in Jesus Christ and God! The member we met with is a new-ish member and they are similar in age so it was really amazing

- we handed out about 800 flyers for general conference, we printed them and put them into every bloc we could find, hopefully some people watched

- ran into a lady who said she received said flyer about general conference so that was awesome

- talked to some other missionaries (from a different church) and they told us about some "mormom sisters" they met and I made joke after saying "I am those mormon sisters" haha

- watched conference with a friend!

-watched conference at the church on Sunday with a few members and friends and A LOT of breakfast, the missionaries made a lot of breakfast so it was super good

- met with our new member and she told us her whole conversion story and it was so cutie and I love visiting her

Basically this week was chill and we have transfers next week so I find out where I'll be and who my comp will be on Saturday! It'll be good!

Spiritual :

General conference was so so good!! I loved the talks from Elder Shumway and Elder Stevenson. They both talked about how we need to do our best, be ourselves and know we won't be perfect. I've been thinking about this a lot lately as a missionary. It's hard when we won't be perfect and you feel like you want to be because you only have a short time as a missionary and want to do everything but I know that my best is good enough. As long as I'm trying hard to do my best(whatever it is), being myself and not trying to be someone else and understand I won't be perfect, it's all enough. It's all God wants. He just wants us to grow as ourselves and not others. I need to be the best Sami I can be, not the best anyone else. I think it's good advice for life and you should all go re-listen to these talks
