Sora Sami Schofield Romania Bucharest Mission: the sun is out and people are happy☀️🇷🇴

Hey hey! Another week of beautiful missionary work here in Romania! Here's some activities!

Here's some adventures:

- went to an inactive members house for lunch and ended up staying for 4 hours lol, not the most productive day but what do ya do, we ministered and got a FIRE meal out of it so win maybe

- the sun is FINALLY out and I could go all day without a sweater or coat and I was SO happy! ☀️

- people are happier to talk when it's sunny and not freezing so that has been nice to try and talk to people, they are wayyyy nicer

- Saturday was WOMENS DAY! it's a big deal here in Romania and we would walk down the street and get free flowers it was cutie

- because it was women's day we scrapped all our plans and went and bought flowers and delivered them to all our members! It was so fun!! 💐 because we don't have a car and the city is huge it took pretty much all day but it was so fun and worth it because they were all so happy talking about it in relief society the next day ☺️

-tried both buffalo and goat milk this week, not much else to say about that, I have got to stop listening to the elders when they buy weird things and make us try them

-we've done our studies outside which has been so SO fun! Loving the spring here

-we were able to find some cute new friends this week! Here's a miracle: sora harris and I were having a rough day, not gonna lie and we went finding and went to talk to this guy and he said he has been looking for religion and we are meeting him again this week! We also met a lady who practically put her number into our phone and wants to meet again so it was awesome and really what we needed. God provides.

Spiritual thought!

Ok so sometimes being a missionary #hard but I think I have and am continually learning that our mistakes need to happen to help us grow. However awkward and embarrassing and stupid and weird our mistakes are, they are for our betterment if we view them that way. If we look at mistakes as a way to grow then we will be a lot happier and see a lot more growth than if we just get discouraged. It's kinda though, I feel like I am constantly making mistakes and seeing weaknesses and feeling like I made the wrong decision but when I decide to focus on my betterment and not what I did wrong I am a lot happier and can feel the atonement more in my life. The atonement wasn't meant to make us feel bad about all our mistakes or weaknesses but just as a way to feel happy that we have a chance to grow. We have a new day everyday to be better than before and with repentance and the atonement we can move forward with faith that God is going to help us be better. Think about this a little bit. It's given me a lot of peace.
