Done with mom duties

Ok I don't have a fun intro so we can just get into the week!

Monday was a super fun p-day! We went to a big sports park and played sports and everything with all the missionaries in Cluj, it was finally good weather and it was a lot of fun to play sports and do all that

Wednesday was a HIGHLIGHT,  I had an exchange with one of my favorite people, Sora Later and it was just genuinely a good day. We had some really funny stories so a recap of Wednesday:

went to the immigration office to get my companions visa, my mom duties are officially done🥳

We had the best member lesson ever who invited our friend to be baptized

Had the most productive language study ever

Went streeting and bloc knocking

A guy stopped US (should be the opposite so it was funny) and started telling us how we show our faith through our acts but don't need to go to church, we tried to explain that going to church is an act and shows our faith but he wasn't getting it haha, also told me I had chicken skin since I had goosebumps on my arm🤷‍♀️

Heard a lady playing the saxophone through a window so naturally we knocked her door and asked to hear her play the saxophone but she said no :(

Planned out how to be each others companions.....

Soaked up the warm sun on the balcony☀️

Honestly it was such a good good day, a top day on my mission. It was just full of joy and feeling the joy of missionary work ☺️

We had some cool lesson this week and met some cool people who really just want to grow closer to God and grow a relationship with Him. It's awesome. One of our lessons ended with our friend saying "thank you for bringing me the truth" 🥹 so tenderrrr

We had some pretty cool miracle stories of how we were in the right place at the right time to meet our friends where they were at to help show them that God cares. We also had some cool member visits. One member told us how everyone on the street is sad but we are happy and she can see it and how grateful she is for missionaries. She told us to be sure we see the miracles and mercies of God in our lives everyday. She is the cutest and bore the strongest testimony. We would try and teach her and she would interrupt and say "can I say something now" and bare beautiful testimony, it was tender 💌

This week was full of tender moments and so much joy. It can be hard to see the fruits of your efforts sometimes, when you feel like you did everything right but still none of friends show up to church or you still can't explain a certain topic in romanian or whatever it is, but I have come to realize that just ministering to members and letting them bear testimony is exactly what I should be doing. If they can know God loves them through this then I have done my job. Or if I just try and share a little light to people on the street then they are feeling God's love and that is why I am here. I was talking with a friend about wanting to share the light and love of Christ more on my mission since that is why I came on a mission and I can say this week I both shared and felt it. Sharing Christ's love and letting it show through us brings SO. MUCH. JOY. This week was described as tender moments and joy. So much of both. I read a talk by Elder Holland recently given to mission president's and he said "if you miss the joy you miss it all".  If I miss the joy of missionary work then I'm missing IT. If we miss the joy of life then we are missing IT. So find the joy in everyday life. There's my little thought for you. ☀️💗✨️💐💌

Love ya,
Sam
