Sora Sami Schofield Romania Bucharest Mission: what about revelations 22:18??

This week was good and so fast!

Tuesday was so funny. There is this inactive member who asked the elders to help her with some service and we decided to come again also and help since we know her. But the elders knew they were helping out so they brought a change of clothes while we didn't so we just had our dresses and Mary Jane's haha. We were helping her fix her fence that was falling over and we were digging in the dirt and hammering while in dresses and docs lol it was funny. She kept telling us to stop and let the elders do it and then she got mad that we weren't doing it correctly (even though I feel like I know how to build a fence and was doing it right) so it was a little frustrating but no where else will I ever be digging and hammering while in my church clothes haha

We also went to visit Theo! He is the 12 year old member in our branch and he is awesome. We visited him and his family.

Wednesday we went into Bucharest for zone conference! It so fun and I can't believe we already had it again! I love being with all the other missionaries. However Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday were a little rough since I was sick and loosing my voice and being sick as a missionary is not it because you don't get sick days haha but we powered through, it just takes a bit longer to get better as a missionary, I don't think I've ever had a cold last this long lol but I'm doing better now, even though at zone conference I could barely talk because of my voice lol

Thursday we had another good lesson. We are trying to figure out how people are actually progressing and it is hard sometimes but good.

Friday was good! We went finding for a lot of it and we got bashed in English which is always a good time. She got mad at us for having the Book of mormon because of the one scripture in Revelations and she started comparing us to other religions, all in English, very funny. Then at the end of the bashing she sprinted away so weird. It was kinda hilarious. Funny day.

Saturday and Sunday were fun and normal! We had some awesome lessons! It was good.

Then today (monday) we hiked to Bușteni again! So fun! The fall colors were out and it reminded me of Utah fall🥰 so fun!

Spiritual thought:

I've been studying in 2 Nephi recently and I'm started notice and highlight all the places where it talks about a "personal" Jesus in a sense. Where it says "I called upon MY God" or phrases like "HIS Savior". It makes it so personal when it's phrased that like. Jesus Christ died for the whole world but I know He would have suffered and died for just one if need be. He is our personal Savior and Redeemer. I've been focusing and thinking about to make Him more personal in my life. I've loved studying and thinking about it.

Anyways, I love you all! Being a missionary is so good! Hard yes, but so amazing! I love it and I love romania!
