Call me, not your mom

Hey everybody, another week gone, here's the haps :

The beginning of this week was kinda slow because I was so sick but we still did some work.

Nothing crazy exciting happened this week. We went finding a lot to try and find some new friends. We went block knocking and ended up accidentally knocking a bloc that is full of a bunch of college kids and so we had a lot of English conversations. I'm not gonna lie, it is a little hard when we go finding for a long time without much success but if nothing else, it gives you good stories and teaches you to trust in the Lord.

Here's some events of the week since it was kinda an average week:
-got really good cannolis one night
-had a cute little 7 year old try and teach us romanian but he can't explain the hard concepts so it wasn't that helpful lol but it was fun
-had really good pizza for lunch
-had and ate a lot snacks and suc at games night
-block knocked and met some really nice college kids and didn't get yelled at 🙌
- taught this lady a lesson and walked with all the way across town to our church to give her a book of mormon and she told us she wasn't interested to change religions but continued to ask us about why we are here and tell us to call her anytime we have a bad day and don't want to worry our moms (also told me to straighten my back so mom, other people notice too I guess), she also told me that I can call her anytime I have a hard day so I don't worry my mom hehe she's so cutie
-realized KFC is kinda a far walk for lunch but totally worth it
-got told bloc knocking that they were raised here when it was communist and they don't want to talk about religion because they were raised that way, crazy

Really uneventful week but that's that

Here's a nice spiritual thought:
I have the pleasure of choosing the hymns for church on Sunday and playing the piano (and I mean pressing the button on the automatic piano, no one get too excited) and I really wanted to sing one of my favorite hymns. In romanian it's my favorite hymn and it's De Tine am nevoie, or I need thee every hour. I love the romanian translation though because it translates to "of You, I have need" the first in romanian says "of You I have need, Lord always, the peace you offer us is only in your mouth" sounds kinda weird in English but it's my favorite romanian hymn. We all have need of God and Jesus and I know they can give us peace like nothing else can.

have a great week, love sam

Sick in bed and super grateful from Grandma Becky's medicine kit
