ceau oradea!πŸ˜’πŸ’—

hey friends! how are you?? Email me and let me know!!

So to start, our week was not super eventful, just the normal

We had some really good lessons!
We met with our friend Cristina and almost got her an established baptismal date but not quite, but we retaught her more about baptism and got her really excited!

We had our branch Christmas party and some friends came which was fun!
Then our friend Miheala came to church and loved it!!! She's so amazing!

Ok then biggest shock of my life, transfer calls on Saturday, I've only been in my area for one transfer so I thought for sure I was staying but then I saw that I was moving and that they are closing Oradea for sister missionaries, I actually cried #saddestmoment

In my time as a missionary in Romania, I was whitewashed trained (meaning both my comp and I were new to the area), got moved after 2 transfers and with someone from my mtc group and now am moving after 1 transfer, it's actually crazy (it doesn't sound like it but it actually is I promise)

So I'm going to Cluj! I'm actually so excited for this new city!! And my companion is Sora Gubler who is also from NV so that's lit

But because we are both leaving we had to say bye to our friends and members and it was so sad #dontrecommend

We told Miheala we were leaving and it was so sad, I love her
We told our branch and it almost made me cry, I love this branch and the members

Then we had to tell Cristina we were leaving which lead to the coolest experience of my whole mission. We go over to meet with her and she starts crying to us about all her hard problems and it was heartbreaking. We taught her about the priesthood more and about priesthood blessings and she wanted a blessing. So we asked the Elders to come over and give her one. They came and gave her a blessing and it was amazing. She was so ready and after she was so excited to have her family come to church and they all came to listen to the blessing which was amazing. The spirit was so strong. Sora Droubay and I were both crying and we told Cristina we were leaving Oradea but we would be back for her baptism and she was so excited, it was so amazing

A little spiritual thought:
I've been reading a lot about grace recently and one thing I read that I liked was that in the scriptures it uses the word condescension a lot, talking about God and Christ condescending, I read that it says that because when God and Christ condescend, they come to our level to help us and give us grace. We aren't expected to rise to their level, they come to ours to lift ours. I read that the sign of the cross is a sign that Christ condescended lower than anyone on that cross so that He can be in the perfect position to raise any of us up and show us grace, pretty cool.

Anyways love you all!
