baptism!☺️🌊

HEY FRIENDS! I hope you are all doing so so amazing!!!! Love you all!!!!

So to start off: my friend Alina got baptized!! It was the most special day ever. She was so excited and got emotional while receiving the holy ghost (the part she was most excited for haha) and it was truly perfect. I've dreamed my whole mission of helping someone get baptized and it finally happened! Dream come true at 15 months☺️

The rest of week was also great!
Wednesday we had mlc in București! I got to see all my mission friends and we did a bunch of sml things wahoo but mlc was amazing and the mission has some exciting goals for the next transfers (my last ones) so I'm excited!

Thursday we got back and honestly it was rough. We were exhausted from our long travel the day before so it was long day. We spent some time cleaning the church for the baptism, some sml things since we are busy with the new transfer, had a lesson with our friend Anamaria again! She is funny and her lessons are hilarious. Still don't like her cat, still don't like her cigarette scented bloc🤷‍♀️

funny story of the day: we thought we would go heart attack Alina's door and bring some flowers before her baptism! It was pouring rain so the senior couple drove us out there so we didn't have to walk an hour over there and we get there and her house has a fence and we thought it be unlocked but it wasn't. So we thought ok, we'll just heart attack her fence. Then we thought we'd drop the flowers over the fence and we couldn't reach. So we sat there contemplating hopping her fence and almost did before the senior couple told us no. So we tried to call her but she wasn't home so we left the stuff in the mailbox and she said she liked it but we need to call before we come over hahah. Super random. But we house knocked her neighborhood and got soaked in the rain so pretty fun day.

Friday was the baptism!!! In the morning we went to one neighborhood (where we found people on their balconies a few weeks ago) and knocked more there and met some cool people! Then we headed to the church to fill the font and do everything and had her perfect baptism! It was a little last minute crazy since the elders needed to baptize her didn't make it back from București, so we had to have the senior missionary do it but all is well and was ok. It was perf! Alina is precious and perfect. She has some sleep problems and doesn't sleep well but the night of her baptism she said she slept for almost 10 hours 🥹🥹 so perfect.

Saturday was not much! We had some more meetings for sml things and district council and had games night! We also met with our friend Elena and she is perfect. A few weeks ago I told you guys about how we met these two super interested people right after praying. Wellll Elena is their friend and we met her and are teaching her so God really does lead you to the right people. She is cute and came to the baptism! She is so cute and i love her! We also watched conference that night so we could watch it live!

Sunday we watched more conference (the saturday afternoon session) and had some fun new finding in a new area! Then watched more general conference that night! So fun!

Basically I'm having the bestest time as a missionary and I love it. Catch me never leaving 🫣

Spiritual thought:
I haven't listened to all of conference yet because of the time change but one talk I LOVED was Elder Eyres in the Saturday morning session. He said that we need to look vertically for worth not horizontally. Amin. I look for validation from other people a lot. I want people to know I'm trying my best, I want people to tell me I'm doing good or that I'm working hard enough etc. But all of these things don't come from other people. They come from God. All of these questions can be answered by God and our worth is determined by God - and spoiler, it never changes. Our worth is always the same and it is high in the site of God. Anyways, I loved that.

I love you all!! Anyone please email I love them, even if I don't respond or we haven't talked in a while i wanna hear from everyone!

Love sami!
