Bună ziua tuturor!
Ok let's jump into the week!
We had a ton of lessons set up and lowkey they all fell through which is #depressing but typical for missionary life so we moved forward.
We did a lot of member work this week. We went to visit a member in our branch and she is hilarious. I love her. Whenever we couldn't say something in romanian, she would correct us and kinda laugh, kinda funny. But she fed us some desserts and we had a good time, it was awesome.
We had our English classes which are a lot of fun!! We teach a kids english class and they are so so cute.
Thursday was crazy so buckle up for this day:
We started by going to our new members house, Amel. She is so amazing. She is so so cute. We gave a lesson about prayer and we all shared stories about prayer and her mom shared a really cute one that I don't think Amel heard before and it was really tender. It was so amazing. Then we get back and we were supposed to go singing to an old folks home with a member. But our member canceled on us but we decided to go over there anyway. We went all the way over there and go in and tell them we want to sing. They take us to some couple and we asked to sing and the lady said she wanted us to but with her sister. We go find her sister and ask to sing and they won't let us. They tell us their whole schedule and when to come back but they won't let us sing. So we left after a little. It was crazy, we went to sing and didn't sing and came home with a 7th day Adventist book. Crazy day.
Friday we had a district activity in Baia Mare. We helped clean up a farm. But because we are girls we couldn't help outside we had to cut fruit inside #whattheheck but it was all good (except for leaving at 5:40 am)
Saturday was crazy, we got transfer news and I'm staying in Cluj and TRAINING! kinda scary but I'm excited! It'll be good! So I'm expecting, in mission lingo the person you train is your daughter so I'm getting a daughter haha so because my comp is leaving, the rest of the week was member visits and it's been so fun!
Spiritual thought:
We have been sharing this quote with people this week. With faith and hope our lives won't necessarily be easy but we will be able to see beyond our challenges and have a celestial perspective. I know it'll bless our lives.
"As we strengthen our faith in Jesus Christ, we see beyond our struggles to the blessings and promises of eternity. Like a light whose brilliance grows, hope brightens the darkened world, and we see our glorious future."
I love you all! Email me!
Love sam
