10/10 Recommend the Provo MTC

Hey all! it's my first p-day at the provo mtc! and even though you may hear bad things about the Provo MTC I've been loving it!

These past 2 weeks have been a whirlwind so bear with me through this email haha

So two Sundays ago (the 23rd) I got set apart and then Monday I started home MTC, I did HMTC until July 2nd and then left for Provo on July 3rd. Of course the church had to buy the earliest plane ticket for me to leave so I had to get to airport at 4:30 am to check my (overweight) bags and get on the flight. I said goodbye to (most of) my family and left! Easton and Lyndi were able to pick me up from Salt Lake and took me to get some great food, a trip to the dinosaur museum and then off to Provo. I saw some family before I left and then Easton and Lyndi (and liz lol) were able to drop me off. Oh and the MTC does not care how sad you are they whisk you off and send you straight to orientation with tears in your eyes and all.

But it was good. I met my whole district and let's just say it is wayyyy better than zoom and a lot louder haha but we have a lot of fun. Class is way better in person and lot more fun. I also got to see my friend Andrew from BYU so it was pretty fun to see one of my best friends!

After getting settled it was pretty chill, just a class and a devotional and then the next day was the Fourth of July (aka the best day of the year)! It was so cutie to see everyone in red, white and blue! Literally the best holiday! But it was a pretty normal day with classes and everything, except we made our district sing the national anthem as our opening hymn for class so that was epic. However the MTC did give us permission to stay up late and watch the fireworks, so we were pretty stoked! We could not see the fireworks very well so it was pretty anticlimactic but everyone was still hype for the Fourth lol

We were a little sad we couldn't hear the Jonas brothers at the stadium and the MTC scheduled us for something inside right when they would be playing which we all think was intentional lol but it's all right.

Anyways that's my week! Classes have been good and mostly just preach my gospel(pmg) but we start full immersion Romanian on Monday so pray for me because I know mici (little) Romanian lol! But in class and studies we are talking about the pmg lessons and about the restoration and how God loves us and knows us. I read this scripture in 1 Nephi which I loved and it talked about we are imprinted on God's hands and will never forget us, even if we feel like we are alone, God is there, don't forget that!

But besides that not much going on since I just got here, but we got to go to the temple today which was fun and that's about it!

Thanks for reading if you did, sorry it's long and scatterbrained, anyone who knows me knows I talk a lot and jump around topics so bare with me lol

but I love you guys and so does Jesus!
