youths...everywhere!

Welcome back everyone, if you feel like you just got an email, I feel like I just wrote one so we are in the same boat! But let's get to it 

On Tuesday we were finally able to come to meet up with our friend Victoria! She's the one who had a baptismal date this month but unfortunately isn't going to happen. She has had some crazy things happen in life and it has just been really hard for her to come to church and meet with us. So we finally met and it was nice to talk. We also had some time for some finding and it was nice! Met some cool people! We also got hit on so many times that day and that was less than ideal but it happens so whatta ya do 

Wednesday we had a lesson with our new friend nicolae! We met him and his daughter on Sunday and he came and toured the church on Wednesday! He was super cool and really liked it and had some good questions! Besides that we had all the basic things and some sml meetings! 

Thursday was a fun day! We had a fun district council and had a church tour with another friend! He's from Bangladesh so he kept telling me he couldn't understand my english, my talking fast was not helpful haha. But he was cool. I also got this random text on facebook last week from a girl who is interested to learn more about Jesus and wants to come to church so we called her and it was good but just so random that she DM'd me randomly. But we had the best lesson with our new member and our friend on baptismal date! We talked about enduring to the end and our member bore the best testimony ever. She just keeps getting cooler and cooler after she got baptized. She's actually perfect. I'm not sure if I mentioned this last week but she also just got a calling and is in the relief society presidency! So perf. 

Friday was wild. We had 8 lessons scheduled. We had one lesson at 10 and one at 10:30 but our lesson at 10 showed up late but the elders clutched up and taught that lesson while we taught our other lesson. But our lesson went super good and our friend teodora is super cool! But we had the coolest lesson! Our friend Vica, who we met on Sunday, came to church and we chatted about a lot. She understands that she was forced into being orthodox during communism so she is super open to other religions. She even brought someone with her to the lesson and we want to extend a baptismal invite to her this week so stay tuned. She was awesome. We also tried to visit a lady who lives by some members so our members came with us but she didn't answer so that was awkward haha. Our members were yelling at her and banging on the door and it was hilarious haha. I love those ladies. Then we had some lessons canceled but just had some finding and talked to some cool people! Long fun day. 

Saturday was fun! We've been trying to call everybody all weekend to confirm them for church so a lot of calls! We streeted a little and had a lesson with our bestie girl Elena! We taught her fasting and fast offerings to prep for Sunday and she then paid fast offerings, she has the strongest testimony. We had a fun games night and that was about it. 

Sunday was fun! Our bestie girl Vica showed up! She loved it and is coming again! Elena came! Our girl Victoria pulled up unexpectedly and it was amazing! She's precious. And we had some other friends come! Fast and testimony meeting was beautiful and it made me really sad that I only have one more left  I also had to translate from Romanian to English and then from English to Romanian so my brain was a little cooked haha. We had nice long streeting block and we found a super cool super pretty new place in Sibiu with so many people and families! So awesome! Fun! 

That's about it! Really solid week. Got some good work done and had a lot of fun.

I read a quote this week that said "men and women who turn their lives over to God will discover that He can make a lot more out of their lives than they can". I know that God changes lives and turning our lives to Him will change us for the better. He'll make something out of us better than we ever imagined. I've seen this time and time again on my mission. When we want God to be part of lives and change us, He will. He will always respond to your request for Him to be a part of your life.
